The FLOSS team was carefully put together to create and curate A NEW Experience in Dentistry. Although knowledge of dentistry must be at the core of this group’s mind-spring, a strong business savvy is also required to grow the mission on a grand scale. Carefully growing a strong brand vision leveraging the corporate franchise model in a whole new way requires a team with knowledge and experience in all of that. The small group of executives leading FLOSS has what it takes.
Dr. Michael Tran
CEO
Dr. Michael Tran has an insatiable appetite for knowledge. It began with his education. First he graduated from Texas Tech University with two Bachelor degrees in Business Management and Spanish. After earning his MBA at Tech, he began his dental education. Completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Howard University in Washington, DC, an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston came next.
Dr. Tran doesn’t do status quo. His commitment to ensuring he’s always able to offer patients the best care available in the industry today is backed up with action. FLOSS Dental is a pioneer and leader in evolving digital dentistry. The technology used in every FLOSS office is second to none. Dr. Tran has now taught hundreds of other doctors how to surgically place implants. He’s now growing his peers while growing FLOSS.
So what’s next for Dr. Tran? Without question, his commitment to continue to learn everything there is to know about the world of dentistry will go on. To answer the question in one word: Growth. Dr. Tran is leading an incredible team dedicated to growing the FLOSS brand nationwide, and growing patients’ confidence is always the focus at FLOSS Dental.
Dr. Minesh Patel
CFO
Dr. Minesh Patel is a native Texan who was born and raised in Houston. He is the numbers guy, and keeps us all on track as we work to achieve the FLOSS vision every day. He attended college at Texas A&M University in College Station and earned a degree in Management-Small Business & Entrepreneurship. After his time at Texas A&M, he went on to obtain his D.D.S. from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. When Dr. Patel moved back home to Houston chose to join FLOSS.
Aside from being a dentist and FLOSS owner, Dr. Patel has a wife, two daughters, two dogs, and enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys traveling and watching sporting events, and is always up for a new restaurant. Dr. Patel strives to build both a professional and personal relationship with every one of his patients. He brings another perspective on creating the experience and image we all strive to create at FLOSS.
Damien A. Morales
President
Damien Morales grew up slightly north of the other FLOSS executives in Dallas, Texas and graduated from the University of North Texas. He’s our resident torch bearer for the brand, and does an excellent job of making great handoffs of the FLOSS brand to those new franchisees who choose to carry the torch next.
He offers a distinct depth of experience that allows him to select and onboard franchisors that he predicts will make positive contributions to the growing FLOSS network. As a seasoned professional with industry leaders like FLOSS Dental, Golds Gym International Franchising Corporation and Images 4 Kids Franchising Corporation, his knowledge is leveraged to help guide FLOSS Franchise Development. He also serves his county as a non-paid public official as the Parks District Commissioner.
FLOSS has leveraged his new ideas, perspectives, specialized franchise development and operational techniques that have been previously proven successful to profitably grow the franchise business. When Damien isn’t helping us fly FLOSS, he also enjoys using his private pilot’s license to fly around the country. Any other time he is spending time with his two daughters keeping them from growing up too fast.
